How to Play

Move your pieces according to their individual movement rules. The Commander can only move one square at a time within the nine-pointed star. Mandarins are limited to diagonal moves within the palace. Elephants move exactly two squares diagonally and cannot cross the river. Knights move one square straight and then one square diagonally, but can be blocked by adjacent pieces. Chariots move any number of squares straight, making them powerful attackers. Cannons move like chariots but must jump over exactly one piece. Soldiers move forward one square and attack sideways after crossing the river. Take the opponent's general to win the game. Strategize your moves carefully to outmaneuver the computer opponent.
